Seafood Cheddar Bay Biscuits with Romano Cream Sauce

Take Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay Biscuits to a whole new level with this indulgent twist. Tender crab and succulent shrimp are folded into the classic mix, then baked to golden perfection. Each bite is bursting with rich, savory seafood flavor, and it doesn’t stop there — the biscuits are finished with a drizzle of creamy Romano sauce for an extra touch of decadence. Perfect as a crowd-pleasing appetizer or an unforgettable side dish, these biscuits are pure comfort with a coastal flair.

1/2 lb Shrimp (shells of, deveined and clean)

2 Tbsp Olive Oil

3 Tbsp each “With Love” Italian Seasoning. Garlic Powder, Onion Powder and Sweet Paprika

1/4 Cup each Red Pepper & Scallions (diced)

5 oz Crab Meat

1 Cup Romano Cheese (grated)

Box Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix

1 3/4 Cup Heavy Cream

1 Tbsp Butter

Heat olive oil and butter in a sauté pan

Sauté shrimp with some of the seasonings until done (about 5 minutes)

Remove from the pan and give them a rough chop and set aside

Sauté peppers and scallions in the pan until soft (add additional oil and butter if you need to)

Once veggies are soft

Add in the crab meat

Stir until heated

Remove from the heat and add in the chopped shrimp

Add the mixture to a mixing bowl

Add 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese

Add biscuit mix, 3/4 cup heavy cream and (1) Tbsp each minced garlic and With Love Italian Seasoning

Mix until just blended

Form mixture into balls

Spray cookie sheet and Add balls

Bake on 425 for 20 minutes or until biscuits are a golden brown

While biscuits are baking, make sauce

In saute pan melt Tbsp butter on low

Add biscuit seasoning mix 1 Tbsp minced garlic, onion powder, and 1 tsp salt/pepper

Whisk to incorporate

Add 1 cup of heavy cream

Turn heat to medium low

When sauce begins to boil

Add 1/2 cup of Romano cheese

Whisk until melted, adjust seasoning and remove from the heat

When biscuits are done

Brush tops with melted butter

Drizzle sauce on top

Top with scallions or chives(optional)
