Eggnog French Toast with Crown Royal Cream Cheese Spread

This French toast is so good! My friends love it, and that Crown Royal glaze something you don’t want to miss. Honestly, you won’t even need syrup for this one.

Ingredients:

4 Eggs

1 Cup Vanilla Spice Eggnog

½ Cup Half and Half or Milk

½ tsp Sugar

½ tsp Vanilla Extract

1 Tbsp Butter

8 Slices Brioche Bread (older bread works better...about 4 days old)

6 oz Package Chopped Pecans

Topping

½ Stick Softened Butter

¼ Cup Brown Sugar

½ Container Philadelphia Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Cream Cheese (softened)

2 ½ Tbsp Crown Royal Vanilla (optional) or use eggnog

Mix everything together set aside

Instructions:

Whip first 5 ingredients together in container

Heat a skillet to medium low

Rub butter to coat the bottom of the pan

While skillet is heating

Dip bread in eggnog mixture coating both sides

Let excess drip off

Place coated bread in skillet and cook

Cook until golden brown...about 7-8 minutes per side or until golden brown

Flip and repeat

Once done remove from heat onto a plate

Drizzle topping over

Add Pecans 

Garnish with powdered sugar (optional)

Serve with syrup(optional)
