Aloha Steak Bowl

Bring a taste of the islands to your table with this vibrant Aloha Steak Bowl. Tender, sautéed steak is coated in a sweet and savory pineapple sauce infused with soy sauce, brown sugar, chili garlic, onions, and bold spices. Served over a fluffy bed of rice and topped with a fresh, zesty pineapple relish, this dish delivers the perfect balance of sweet heat and tropical flavor in every bite. It’s a colorful, satisfying meal that’s as easy to make as it is to love.

Ingredients

2 Cups Pineapple Juice (no sugar added) 

About 2-3 inches Ginger 

2 Cloves Garlic

1/2 Cup Soy Sauce (low sodium)

1/2 Cup Coconut Liquid Amino

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

1/2 Sweet Onion

2 Tbsps Chili Garlic Sauce (more if you like it spicy)

2 tsp Thyme

2 tsp Sweet Paprika

2 tsp Salt

Ribeye Steaks (rinse.pat dry and cut into chunks)

Put first 11 ingredients in a blender

Blend well

Put the steaks in a ziploc bag

Pour half of the blended sauce over

Marinade for at least 3 hrs

Pour the remaining marinade in a skillet

Cook until sauce thickens about 10 minutes stir occasionally

Once sauce has thickened

Remove from heat and set aside

When ready to cook your steaks

Remove from the marinade (pat dry)

Heat skillet to medium high

Add Tbsp olive oil

Saute until desired doneness 

Once steaks are done

Pour sauce over 

Cook for about a minute

Remove from heat

Rice

1 Cup Jasmine Rice

2 Tbsp FreshGinger (minced)

2 Garlic Cloves (minced)

Cook Rice according to package direction, add ginger and garlic to the water before adding the rice

Relish

3/4 Cup Fresh Pineapple (diced) 

1/4 Cup Red Onion(diced)

1 Firm Roma Tomato(diced)

3/4 Jalapeno Pepper (deseeded and diced)

Juice from 1/2 Lime

Pinch Salt

Mix all the ingredients together and refrigerate until ready to use 

Vibrant and pairs well with the steak and rice!

Add your rice to a bowl or plate

Top with steak

Top with relish

Drizzle extra sauce over(optional)
