Easy Surf and Turf Skillet with Cream Sauce
This hearty one-pan meal is packed with flavor and simple to make. Juicy steak slices, succulent shrimp, crispy golden potatoes, sweet red peppers, and tender onions all come together in one sizzling skillet. Enjoy it as-is for a bold, savory dish—or drizzle on the optional creamy sauce for an extra layer of richness. Delicious either way!
Ingredients:
1 lb Ribeye Steak (sliced)
1 lb Shrimp (devein.clean.pat dry)
6 oz Petite Potatoes (cut in half)
½ Red Pepper (diced)
½ Yellow Onion (diced)
11 oz Fresh Spinach
3 Tbsp Butter
3 Tbsp Olive Oil
McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
CRAVE Cajun Seasoning
Salt & Pepper
Simple Sauce:
2 Tbsp Butter
2 Tbsp Flour
1 Cup Beef Broth
1 Cup Half/Half
1/4 Cup Onions
McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Cajun Seasoning
Salt & Pepper
Directions:
Heat skillet on medium high
Add steak sprinkle with steak seasoning, garlic and onion powder
Cook until done (about 6-8 minutes)
Remove and Add shrimp sprinkle with cajun seasoning
Cook until done (about 3 minutes per side)
Remove & Drop temp to medium low
Add butter and olive oil
Add potatoes flesh side down Cook for about 7 minutes Sprinkle with steak seasoning, onion and garlic powder
Flip to other side Add more seasoning
Continue to cook until able to pierce through with a fork
When potatoes have softened
Add onions and red pepper
Cook until soften
Add spinach and stir until wilted
Stir in steak and shrimp
Remove mix from the skillet
Sauce (optional)
Add onions to the skillet
Cook for about 2 minutes
Add Butter and Flour
Stir until melted and incorporated
Cook for about 2 more minutes
Whisk in liquids and stir until it begins to thicken
Add Seasonings and simmer for about 10 minutes
Serve over Steak Mix
